ATI Sponsored Grants

Overview

Autonomic Technologies, Inc. (ATI) has initiated a program of support for selected activities under its Sponsored Grants program. In contrast to the Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) program defined under COP-001, the Sponsored Grants program is designed to support unsolicited activities which fall outside typical research studies. ATI shall not solicit or encourage Sponsored Grants. Unsolicited written proposals are evaluated by the IIS Committee following a set of defined criteria which are distinct from those associated with the IIS. As with the IIS process, all requests for Sponsored Grants are reviewed in a manner which is consistent with ATI’s mission and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and guidance as well as ATI’s business practice standards and policies.

Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS)

Overview

Autonomic Technologies, Inc. (ATI) is committed to supporting the advancement of innovative applications of sphenopalatine ganglion (SPG) stimulation for the treatment of neurological disorders including severe headache. Toward this end, ATI has initiated a program of support for selected Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) to ensure that any such studies are conducted in a manner consistent with ATI’s mission and are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidance and industry codes of conduct, as well as ATI’s business practice standards and policies. In all but exceptional circumstances of scientific interest and merit, ATI is interested in supporting IIS using the most current standard of care techniques to advance neurostimulation therapy in general and SPG stimulation therapy in particular. ATI accepts unsolicited written proposals to support IIS for any currently approved/CE marked indications (i.e. “on-label studies”) as well as for any new indications which are outside the scope of current labeling (i.e. “off-label studies”). ATI shall not solicit or encourage such requests.
